Martin has overseen the company’s high profile work in the private and public sectors since the very beginning of HRM – previously known as Hurndall Ross Media – more than 18 years ago.
He became involved in the public relations industry following a successful career in newspaper journalism, holding senior positions at Sheffield Newspapers, Yorkshire Post Newspapers and parent group United Provincial Newspapers.
Sheffield United Vice President Martin can also regularly be found in the Bramall Lane boardroom, pining for the Blades to one day return to the Premier League.
Richard first joined HRM more than 15 years ago straight from university and, after several years as managing director of a publishing company and then as night editor of The Star newspaper, has returned to be Account Director.
During his time with The Star Richard was twice named as Sports Reporter of the Year and was a key member of the editorial team which won the Daily Newspaper of the Year 2015 award at the O2 Media Awards for Yorkshire and the Humber.
Away from work Richard can be found at various sporting events, cheering on his two children, or at Hillsborough hoping Sheffield Wednesday can bring back the glory days.

Susan joined HRM in 2001.
Our uber-efficient Operations Director, Susan has worked in the media for more than 20 years in both the newspaper and PR industries.
When she’s not running operations at HRM HQ, she can be found indulging in her love of gardening or dining out at some of the city’s top eateries.

A graduate of the University of Leeds’ broadcast journalism degree, Natalie Harrison worked for local radio stations such as Peak FM, Dearne FM and Tower FM before joining HRM in 2005.
Initially working as an Account Executive before moving up to the role of Account Manager in 2008, Natalie works with clients including the Owlerton Greyhound Stadium and SIV, and is responsible for tasks such as media relations, social media and reputation management. She has won numerous CIPR awards for her client campaigns.

Allie graduated from The University of Huddersfield in 2005 with a degree in in Media Studies and Print Journalism and joined Sheffield Wednesday Football Club as Matchday Press Assistant.
Allie spent three years at Hillsborough before joining HRM in 2005, and works on a variety of accounts including Redbrik Estate Agents, Redtooth and Frenchgate Shopping Centre.
Outside of work, Allie’s an avid Rotherham United follower, mummy of two and a calorie-burning, Zumba fanatic.

Ellie joined HRM in April 2015 direct from a leading PR agency in London. She is responsible for copywriting, monitoring social media, creative thinking and maintaining media contacts for a range of clients including B Braun Medical Ltd, Westfield Health and Olympic Legacy Park.
Following a management studies degree at the University of Nottingham, Ellie worked for various organisations such as Ten Group, ZFL PRCo and Kindred Agency in London before moving to Sheffield.

Hannah graduated from Sheffield Hallam University’s Communications Studies course in 2007 and has more than six years’ experience in PR and communications.
She joined HRM as an Account Executive in 2008 and spent time working in-house as an internal communications officer for client Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust before becoming Senior Account Executive at HRM in 2012, working on a variety of clients including SIV and Future Life Wealth Management.
Our office fashionista, she’s also the proud mum to young daughter Sofia.
Simon has more than 15 years experience working in video, media and design.
He started his working life at a Sheffield based design agency before joining The Star newspaper in 2001. Working across all aspects of the business, Simon was a key member of the team excelling in design and video in his role as Digital Content Editor.
Simon manages all aspects of HRM’s design and video production.
Away from work he can usually be found in the gym or watching Rugby League and Sheffield United.
Jill studied English literature at the University of Sheffield before completing her NCTJ Journalism qualification and becoming a reporter at the Rotherham Advertiser.
She joined HRM in 2003, working her way up from Account Executive to Account Manager, and, after a stint in magazine journalism, returned to HRM in 2010, copywriting for clients including Stagecoach Yorkshire, Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Age UK Sheffield.
Our charitable/CSR queen, when she’s not organising fundraising events at HRM HQ, she’s hosting the company’s book group.
Joe graduated from the University of Sheffield’s Journalism Studies degree in June 2015, and has worked with us ever since.
Having completed a one-day-per-week internship in his final year of study, Joe joined full-time in summer 2015 and has worked on a variety of clients such as John Holland and Sheffield United.
As an avid Manchester United fan, outside work Joe can often also be found urging his team to glory from the Stretford End.
Laura studied Film Studies at Sheffield Hallam University, graduating with an undergraduate degree in 2011 followed by a postgraduate degree in 2012.
Having previously worked in customer service and administration roles, Laura developed an interest in PR at her previous company, Capita Employee Benefits, where she produced the team newsletter. Laura joined HRM as an account executive in October 2016 and works on a range of clients including Redbrik, SIV and Frenchgate Shopping Centre.
Laura runs a film adaptation book group in Sheffield, which combines her love for both film and books. She also enjoys experimenting with vegan recipes and crochet.
Peter was born in Sheffield and has been a journalist in the city for almost 40 years.
A former pupil of King Edward VII School, he went on to study politics at the University of Kent before joining Sheffield Newspapers. He worked on The Star before helping launch the Sheffield Telegraph 26 years ago.
In particular, throughout his career, he has been interested in planning and development issues in Sheffield - monitoring huge changes such as the arrival of Meadowhall, and the Heart of the City programme.
He is married with two children.

Laura is an experienced PR Manager and Copywriter, having
worked in communications for top brands including BMW and The National Trust.
She has also worked in media relations for local government, specialising in social housing, and in internal communications for central government departments.
Laura has spent the past five years working in Business Development for the UK's largest independent fostering agency and brings a wealth of transferable skills to HRM.
