Frenchgate makes national awards shortlist – twice!

We love shouting about the successes of our clients especially because we work so closely with them and become part of their team.

Frenchgate Shopping Centre is currently celebrating having been shortlisted for two prestigious industry awards – and we’re delighted to say that we worked with the Centre on both award submissions.

The Centre has been recognised for its Mile of Scarves and #Paperdolls campaigns by the Revo Purple Apple Marketing Awards.

The successful Mile of Scarves campaign - which was run in conjunction with Doncaster Cancer Detection Trust and raised essential funds and awareness for the charity - has been shortlisted in the ‘cause-related marketing’ category and the popular #Paperdolls summer campaign has been shortlisted in the ‘tactical marketing communications’ category.

The Revo Purple Apple Marketing Awards are the only awards which recognise and reward effective shopping and town centre marketing within the UK retail property sector. The awards also reflect how marketers have to constantly adjust to changing times, from ensuring their budget goes further and works harder, to driving retailer sales and harnessing new initiatives including digital marketing.

Paddy Mellon, general manager at Frenchgate, said: “We are delighted to have been recognised for the great work we have been doing at Frenchgate.

“The Revo Purple Apple Marketing Awards are very important within our industry and it is the first time the centre has been shortlisted.

“We work hard at Frenchgate to ensure our customers have the best possible multi-sensory experience when they visit our centre and to have been acknowledged for these awards is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved.”

For Frenchgate to receive national recognition with these two nominations is a great endorsement – and we’re proud to have played our part in communicating the Centre’s hard work, creativity and innovation to the judges drawing up the shortlist.

Over the last 20 years, we’ve clocked up more than 100 shortlistings and wins for our clients thanks to our award-winning formula for writing submissions.

And now looking ahead – it’s fingers crossed for Frenchgate to do the double at the ceremony next month!
