Getting on board with contactless campaign

​No cash? No problem!

Stagecoach bus passengers in South Yorkshire can now pay for their travel using contactless technology on board – a message we have been shouting from the roof tops!

We’ve worked with Stagecoach Yorkshire for more than a decade and for their latest campaign we have gone digital to support their integrated contactless payment initiative.

We have produced four videos for their social media channels which showcase the benefits of using contactless technology. From the initial creative meetings, to booking models and organising filming locations, to storyboarding, filming, creating graphics and editing - we have done it all on this project and are delighted with the results.

Two of the videos have gone live and have had more than 90,000 views to date.

Contactless is now live on Stagecoach Yorkshire buses across South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire – benefiting local passengers who make around 45 million journeys through the year.

The new system allows customers to pay with contactless credit or debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Android Pay.

New dedicated ticket machines have been installed on the fleet of 384 buses and thousands of bus passengers a day will benefit from the new technology, which will help speed up boarding as customers will no longer need to carry cash.
