Spreading Christmas cheer with Sheffield United
We enjoyed helping Sheffield United spread Christmas cheer when we joined Blades players, management, staff and partners on one of the Club’s annual Christmas visits to local charities.
We joined United players Jake Wright, Louis Reed, Caolan Lavery,
John Fleck, Aaron Ramsdale and David Brooks at Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice
in North Anston to deliver presents and meet patients and their families, as
well as staff and volunteers.
Also visiting were Darren Ward, First Team Goalkeeping Coach, Rosa Neary and Rachel Ruddach, of Sheffield United Ladies Football Club, and Gary Sinclair, Bramall Lane Stadium Announcer.
Gifts were funded thanks to generous donations from the players, management, academy coaches, admin staff, kit manufacturers Adidas and ourselves, as well as Club partners and HRM clients, Westfield Health and Redtooth.
Martin Ross, our Managing Director, who is also a Vice President of Sheffield United Football Club and visted Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice with United, said: "Sheffield United traditionally enjoys a fantastic connection with its community, and it was a huge privilege to join the Club, sponsors and partners on their annual Christmas charity visits.
"This was a great opportunity for us all to give something back to those fans who show outstanding support to the Club regardless of their situation."
As well as Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, the Club also visited St. Luke’s Hospice, Sheffield Children’s Hospital and Weston Park Hospital.
