HRM – delivering on digital

Digital knowledge, skills and expertise is crucial in the PR world of 2018 – and ours has proved very popular this summer.

From filming and editing vox pop interviews with key NHS staff, to announcing the appointment of Sheffield United legend Tony Currie as a director of the club, the sheer variety of audio-visual projects even saw us create Doordeals Ltd’s bespoke digital advertisement for use on the Blades’ new state-of-the-art LED perimeter boardings at Bramall Lane.

It has been particularly pleasing to work with the NHS. Our account manager for video and creative, Simon Waller, was on hand to film and edit a video showcasing NHS Sheffield’s fantastic new Perfect Patient Pathway project.

The scheme has seen the set-up of a special app for tablet devices which enables nurses to monitor patients electronically, plus input data which is then sent to a central team which is able to react quickly to changes in a patient’s health.

The video was then showcased at major NHS events and conferences in front of health experts.

Meanwhile, our senior account executive Joe Bamford was on the spot to film and edit two announcements for Sheffield United Football Club – with Blades legend Tony Currie first having one of Bramall Lane’s stands renamed in his honour, before then being appointed a director of the club.

Currie, 68, was voted the club’s greatest-ever player during the Blades’ 125th anniversary celebrations in 2014, played 313 times for United, scoring 54 goals. Bramall Lane’s south stand became the Tony Currie Stand earlier this summer, and Currie will now play an important role for the Blades as a member of the club’s board of directors. The football world is ever-changing, with the 2018/19 season being no different. One major improvement at Bramall Lane has been the installation of fantastic new LED perimeter advertisement boardings at Bramall Lane.

It’s given the club’s partners and sponsors additional creative ways of conveying their messaging, none more so than for our client Doordeals.

We were proud to see more of Simon’s fine work on display for the first time at the start of the 2018/19 SkyBet Championship season as Doordeals’ advertisement, complete with a fleet of moving vans, made its debut.
